What3words, the technology that all Lamborghini Huracan will have in 2022

The entire Lamborghini Huracan range will debut in 2022 a technology that will allow you to enjoy places you can reach with your car.

Starting in mid-2022, all versions of the Lamborghini Huracan will integrate a technology called what3words, which works via Alexa. It is a very precise navigation system that allows drivers to reach very specific places with their car just by saying three words thanks to a voice command. This technology is based on global addressing and very precise mapping that Lamborghini now uses.

Precisely mapped

What3words location technology is changing the way we go to a specific direction as the globe has been divided into 57 billion squares of three meters each, to which a unique combination of three words has been added, that is a what3words address.

For example, drivers can enter usual.trying.highs and the system will direct them to the exact ten-foot square that offers the best panoramic view of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Another advantage is that it does not need an internet connection for its operation.

Lamborghini is the first car brand to incorporate Amazon Alexa Full Control, and what3words integration allows users to reach a precise three-meter square with a simple voice command.

This technology will also be available in other automobile brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Tata Motors, Lotus, Ford, Addison Lee, Hermes and Cabify.

The what3words app is free to download for both iOS and Android and works offline in multiple languages, making it ideal for use in areas with limited coverage. What3words is also available in browsers through an online map.
