Our parents still fondly remember the movie “Pati Patni Aur Woh” as one of the best movies of the 1970s. B.R. Chopra directed this phenomenal movie, and it gathered lots of audience appraisal.
Today’s entertainment news is about the remakes in Bollywood that, in some cases, create blunders.

Bollywood is going through a phase of remakes. Be it a song of the 80s, or an evergreen movie from the olden times, Bollywood is going head over heels crazy for those remakes.

Some Remakes Are Successful, While Some Are Garnering Negative Opinions

One such incident took place as the trailer of a modern adaptation of Pati Patni Aur Woh released a few weeks ago. As we all know, Kartik Aryan is famous for his epic ranting monologues. Yet another monologue welcomes the audience in his latest movie Pati Patni Aur Woh. Unlike his earlier movies, this one did not go down well with the audience. Here, Kartik complains to his friend about how difficult it is to have sex with one’s own wife.
Feminists, sociologists as well as paparazzi, everyone was quick to notice the lack of empathy in his dialogue delivery. Marital rape has been one of the most traumatizing consequences that a woman can go through. In India, people are still fighting to give marital rape the status of crime. But in India, it is not an offence.
Today’s entertainment news is about how the entire team of Pati Patni aur Woh reacted towards this hue and cry. Kartik said on Thursday that the team rectified the controversial dialogue that apparently was making fun of the marital rape issue.

In today’s entertainment news, Kartik said in a group interview that the team at any cost did not want to hurt the sentiments of the audience. It was totally unintentional. That’s why the team together took responsibility and removed the word(rape) and rectified the dialogue.

He further said that during the shooting, no one realised how the scene and dialogue would be interpreted. For them, it was more of a casual dialogue where one friend vents about a lack of sex in his life to another. Until, and unless the audience reacted to the dialogue, they did not have the slightest idea that it can hurt people’s sentiments.

Now, all is done and set. In today’s entertainment news, the team apologizes for hurting the audience's emotions. And just like a responsible team, they rectified their mistake.
Pati Patni Aur Woh is going to release on 6th December 2019. Other than Kartik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey are playing the lead roles.
